Four engines power the Challenger lineup. It starts with the 303 horsepower 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, the only engine available with all-wheel drive in the SXT and GT. Select the R/T, and the 5.7-liter HEMI V8 becomes available with 375 horsepower and 410 lb.-ft. of torque. Choosing the R/T Scat Pack gets the 6.4-liter HEMI V8 with 485 rumbling horsepower. Want more power? Consider the colossal power of Challenger SRT® models, with the 6.2L HEMI V8 equipped SRT Hellcat producing 717 horsepower, the 6.2L HEMI V8 SRT Hellcat Redeye and SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody generating 797 horsepower and leading from the front of the pack, the Dodge Challenger SRT^® Super Stock flaunt the highest horsepower of any production car, coming in at a whopping 807 ponies.!

Putting all that power to the ground is the refined TorqueFlite® eight-speed automatic sending power to the rear wheels or through the all-wheel drive system. It is standard with the Pentastar V6 and optional on all V8 models. And you could change gears with available paddle shifters for a more exciting drive; the six-speed TREMEC® manual transmission is found standard on all V8 models.

Challenger SXT and GT models offer something not found in the competitors, a choice of rear wheel drive or all-wheel drive (AWD) drivetrains. The available AWD system helps drivers maintain control when traction is less than ideal. Want more MOPAR? The Supercharged 6.2L High-Output HEMI® V8 engine in the SRT® Super Stock offers the highest horsepower of any production car of up to 807 horsepower and 707 pound-feet of torque. With times like a 1/4-Mile in 10.5 seconds at 131 mph and 0-60 in 3.25 seconds, the SRT® Super Stock Challenger was created with the serious competitor in mind.
