Top Awards for the 2016 Chrysler Town and Country
The competition for vans might not be as stiff as it is for SUVs and crossovers, but for Chrysler, that’s no reason to create anything less than the best. That’s why the Chrysler Town and Country has received numerous awards over the years, including the following:
J.D. Power’s Highest Ranked Minivan in Initial Quality 2013-2014
J.D. Power doesn’t determine any vehicle’s ranking itself. Instead, what the company does is send out surveys to new vehicle owners at the 90-day mark to see what they think of their purchase. Adding all the survey reports together, the company compares each entry in each vehicle class to see which one is getting the highest marks among consumers. In the years 2013 and 2014, J.D. Power’s survey results showed that the Town and Country was the best-loved new minivan on the market.
Consumer Reports Best Buy 2015
Consumer Reports is a hard organization to please. Staff members very scrupulously avoid taking any financial rewards or free copies from any of the companies whose products they review, and they even refuse to put any ads in their magazine or on their website. They do all this so that they can provide their readers with the most unbiased reviews and opinions possible, which is why so many subscribers pay them every year to keep their business going.
In 2015, Consumer Reports gave the new Town and Country a Best Buy rating, and that’s not a rating handed out to just the least expensive model. Consumer Reports weighs the price against the quality of the features, the speed and handling, the comfort, the capacity, the safety and everything else you’re buying. Only vehicles which provide the best value per dollar get Consumer Reports’ famous award.
Polk Automotive’s Highest Consumer Loyalty in a Minivan for 14 Years
Polk Automotive determines customer loyalty by analyzing government vehicle registrations and cross-referencing them with the households doing the registering. With this information, Polk has determined that more Town and Country buyers return to the model than any other minivan. That’s the kind of customer loyalty that’s hard to come by without a good, quality product.
Texas Auto Writers Association Minivan of Texas 2013-2014
The Texas Auto Writers Association, TAWA, places a priority on things which most national outlets don’t, things like ruggedness, the ability to drive long distances safely and comfortably, and overall versatility. For the years of 2013 and 2014, the Chrysler Town and Country earned the TAWA’s respect and won its category. On top of that, the Town and Country also won the TAWA’s Family Car of the Year award in 2014.
The Chrysler Group has been producing minivans longer than anyone else, and while the original Dodge Grand Caravan is going away so that the brand can focus on small, sporty vehicles, its sister in Chrysler will soon be finding new life as the 2017 Pacifica. And until then, minivan buyers can still find the affordable, award-winning 2016 Chrysler Town and Country at their nearest Chrysler dealership.
