Jeep Wrangler Safety

Wrangler keeps your safety and security as a first priority.  Our newly standard active safety and security features give you confidence in our high standards.  Wrangler has your back on your next adventure with Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Path Detection.  Our safety systems will let you know if another vehicle is in your blindspot or moving behind you as you back up.  Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking will alert you if your Wrangler is driving up on the vehicle in front of you too quickly.  The audible alert will sound and the vehicle will come to a complete stop if necessary to avoid a collision.  LaneSense® Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist will alert you if you drift from your lane with an audible warning and can course correct your Wrangler back into your own lane.  Wrangler will help you stay in control of your vehicle with Electronic Stability Control by detecting and correcting over or understeering.

A high-strength steel frame helps keep all passengers safe in the event of a collision.  This sturdy structure of the Wrangler reinforces crash protection along with enhancing vehicle dynamics.  

Parking Technology in the Jeep® Wrangler is a key component of our safety systems.  Available ParkSense® Rear Park Assist with Stop will let you know if you are too close to an object or obstacle while parking and will apply the brakes if necessary to assist you in stopping.  ParkView® Rear Back-up Camera gives you a video image with clear gridlines that help guide you when you shift your vehicle into reverse.  Wrangler also has available Parallel and Perpendicular Park Assist with Full Stop that will recognize open parking spaces and helps steer the vehicle and direct you to shift gears, apply brakes or use the accelerator to make parking a breeze.  The convenient Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go is available in the Wrangler as well.  This tool will adjust your speed to maintain a distance that you select from the vehicle driving in front of you.  It will also automatically come to a complete stop if it senses a possible collision.

Auto Headlamps turn on when lighting conditions change while you are driving.  These lights will also stay on when you exit the vehicle temporarily to make it easier for you to see your surroundings.
