2024 Jeep Wrangler Release Date & Highlighted Updates

The Jeep Wrangler is one of the most iconic vehicles available on today’s market, and it’s without question one of the most popular options when it comes to off-road driving. We love when the Wrangler gets updated because it usually means even more rugged design cues, improved off-road capabilities and new features. For the new model year, the 2024 Jeep Wrangler is all new, and we cannot wait for its release date. Orders are currently open for the new Wrangler and it will begin arriving at dealerships – like right here at Rairdon’s Dodge Chrysler Jeep of Monroe – later this calendar year. New & Updated Trim Levels

The first thing we want to highlight is the different variations of the model from which you’ll be able to choose. There are a host of trim levels available, including two that have received several updates of their own and another two that are brand-new for 2024. One of these new models is the Rubicon X, which adds several premium off-road features to what the fantastic Rubicon already has to offer. Speaking of Rubicon, it’s one of the two updated trim levels, as it comes with a host of new features such as an 8,000-pound Warn winch.

The other new model is the Sport S 4xe, a more affordable electrified option on the lineup. It’s powered by the award-winning plug-in hybrid powertrain that has become super popular on the lineup over the past few years, but it’s lower on the hierarchy than other 4xe trim levels. Lastly, the Willys trim level also received some exciting updates for 2024, including new 33” tires.

Available Powertrain Options

This year, the Wrangler is available with more powertrain options than ever before thanks to four total builds from which to choose. They include the 2.0L turbocharged PHEV 4xe, which is capable of generating 375 horsepower. Then there is the 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder that offers 270 hp, the 3.6L V6 offering 285 hp and the 6.4L V8 with 470 hp.
