Annual Mudfest Excites
Mudfest in Shelton, Washington is always a people-pleaser.
It’s an exciting annual event where two-dozen plus members of the print, online, radio and television media get to let loose by going off-roading.
This year they tested out 22 vehicles from 14 different manufacturers.

2020 Jeep Gladiator Hits a Grand Slam
Adding to the excitement at Mudfest is how the 2020 Jeep Gladiator hit an award grand slam.
Never one to wallow in the mire, the open-air truck took home awards for Pickup Trucks (2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon), Extreme Capability (2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon), NW Outdoor Activity Vehicle of the Year (2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon), and Top Overall Vehicle.
“The all-new 2020 Jeep Gladiator earned its title of Northwest Outdoor Activity Vehicle of the Year with an exceptionally functional blend of SUV and pickup attributes that northwest consumers crave,” NWAPA President John Vincent said.
What is the Northwest Automotive Press Association (NWAPA)
The Northwest Automotive Press Association—or NWAPA—is a group of journalists from across the media spectrum.
Founded in 1991, NWAPA journalists provide stories to media outlets like AAA, Automotive News of the Pacific Northwest, Motor Trend, DRIVE! Magazine, and Automotive.com.
They are involved with/ put on major auto events like Drive Revolution, Run to the Sun, and Mudfest.
