Spring has sprung in Monroe and April’s activities are in full blossom! We’ve compiled a list of some fun, local happenings, so bring your friends, family, or head out solo and join in on some good ole fashioned fun!

April 16th : The 25th Annual Community Egg Hunt at Lake Tye Park
Pre-event activities begin at 9am, hunt begins at 10am.
Ages 10 and under are welcome to hunt, please bring your own basket.
Lots of things to do! Hands on activities provided by local organizations and business.
April 16th : Farm Tough 5k, at Legacy Farm
Events start at 10:00 Am
Join us for a unique fitness and nature experience and challenge yourself with Legacy Farm’s “Farm Tough 5K” course. Test your mental and physical strength as you run through wet terrain, unique obstacles and steep hills. Push past the fatigue, water and muddy challenges to finish off the first annual Spring Farm Tough 5K, 2022!
Bring the entire family and enjoy the Spring festival with hay rides, petting zoo, family photos, carnival games and family competitions!!!
April 24th : Kid’s Fishing Day, at Lake Tye
8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Trout Unlimited – Sky Valley 624 is sponsoring a FREE Kid’s Fishing Day at Lake Tye. Free to kids 12 and under, must be accompanied by an adult. Fishing gear provided. Prizes awarded.
April 29th : Arbor Day & Earth Day Celebration
1:15 PM – 2:15 PM
Come celebrate Arbor Day and Earth Day Friday, April 29th, 1:15pm at Lake Tye Park by participating in a ceremonial planting of an Arbor Day tree, donated by a group of gardening friends in honor of the Monroe Garden Club.
