Last Call for This Era of Dodge Charger and Challenger

Fans of this generation’s Dodge Charger and Challenger can rejoice – production has officially started for the 2023 model year. These models mark an end to the current era of the muscle cars as Dodge plans to switch over production of combustion engines to electric. This isn’t the end for either model, although we expect some changes for the future. Production Has Begun for the Dodge Charger and Challenger

Within the last few months, Dodge’s factories have made the change from 2022 to 2023 editions of the Dodge Charger and Challenger much to the joy of muscle car enthusiasts. Production will continue all the way to the end of 2023, so there should be plenty of chances to get your hands on the model of your dreams. Some will come in limited quantities, though. When it comes to the Charger, there are eight trim levels like the Scat Pack and SRT Hellcat Redeye. That’s not to say your options are limited to the trims, though; there are so many packages and upgrades that allow you to have a truly custom build. Then there’s the Challenger, with nine trim options and just as many opportunities to customize.

Each 2023 Charger and Challenger will have a “Last Call” emblem plaque to commemorate the occasion. Special heritage color options are also available in Destroyer Gray, Plum Crazy, Sublime, and B5 Blue. If you’re a fan of special edition models, the Challenger’s Black Ghost builds on the SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody model with a unique look and 807-horsepower engine. For those who like the Charger, the King Daytona Special Edition has the same horsepower and comes in Go Mango, an exterior that is a tribute to the classic 1969 dragstrip models. There are to many packages and options to list here, but rest assured that the options are nearly endless.
