Dodge
For starters, one big, exciting rumor making the rounds from the Dodge brand is that the next-generation Charger won’t be offered exclusively as an electric vehicle, like previously stated. Even though the Last Call of the current model is currently on its way, which was supposed to be just that for the internal combustion engine version of the iconic sports car, rumor has it the next-generation Charger will adopt a similar palette to the Hornet, offering both ICE and EV options. Additionally, it looks like the Dodge Durango will be getting completely redesigned for the next generation, and there are tons of rumors that the old Stealth nameplate will be making a return – perhaps even taking over as the next-gen Durango.
Chrysler
It should come as no surprise that Chrysler has the fewest number of rumors considering they also have the fewest number of available vehicles. Speculation states that a refreshed Pacifica is in the works and also that the brand’s first EV will be unveiled by 2025.
Jeep
Tons of exciting rumors are flying for the Jeep brand, starting with the impending introduction of the brand-new, all-electric Jeep Recon. While many have thought the Jeep Cherokee to be discontinued, the rumor circulating is that it’s actually just taking a hiatus while its next generation is completely reworked. However, it’s also speculated that, while the vehicle is getting redesigned and will soon be revealed, it might not continue with the Cherokee name. Other speculation includes the following:
- Refreshed Grand Cherokee L coming in 2025
- Gladiator Willys trim will be upgraded
- Wrangler Willys trim will be upgraded
- Wagoneer range will offer 4xe model as early as 2024
RAM
We’ve saved what many will likely consider the best for last, as speculation regarding the RAM brand returning to the midsize segment has heated up immensely. We say return, but technically RAM has never had its own midsize truck. The Dodge Dakota was a part of the RAM brand for the brand’s first year or so, but it retained its Dodge branding until its discontinuation in 2011. We’re excited at this prospect and cannot wait to see not only what it will look like but what it will be called.
We’ll be sure to fill you in on the real information as it becomes available, so be sure to check back often to learn whether these rumors have any substance behind them.
