What kinds of awards and accolades has Jeep earned recently?

Not only are awards a great way for engineers and designers to get recognized for the work they put into their vehicles, but even more importantly they’re a great way to help consumers recognize the best vehicles in certain aspects or segments. That’s a big reason why we’re always on the lookout for awards and accolades from reputable sources for the new vehicles that we provide right here at Rairdon’s Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM of Monroe. So, we thought we’d take a look at the Jeep brand in particular today to highlight what kinds of recognition the brand has earned recently. Check out below for all the details!

Before diving into individual models, we did want to highlight one honor that the Jeep brand as a whole earned recently. After once again winning the award in 2022, Jeep has now been recognized as the Most Patriotic Brand by Brand Keys for the past 20 consecutive years. In addition, back in 2021 Newsweek recognized Jeep as having the Best SUV Lineup in its Autos Awards that year.

Jeep Grand Cherokee

Did you know that the Jeep Grand Cherokee is the most awarded SUV… ever? No other sport utility vehicle has won more awards than the Grand Cherokee throughout its lifetime. While we’re not going to go through its entire storied history, we will highlight some of the awards it received recently. This includes the 2022 Best Two-Row SUV from the Newsweek Autos Awards, the Wards 2021 10 Best Interiors and 10 Best User Experiences awards, the 2021 Midsize SUV of Texas as voted by the Texas Auto Writers Association and the Best Overall Value, Lowest Cost of Ownership and Multiple Smart Choice Winner awards from the 2022 IntelliChoice Awards.

Jeep Wrangler

The Jeep Wrangler might just be one of the most identifiable and recognizable vehicles of all time thanks to its decades-long legacy continuing to be written. It is no stranger to winning awards, including these that it received recently: the Wrangler Rubicon 392 was recognized as the 2022 SUV of the Year by FourWheeler magazine and the Wrangler 4xe won the Women’s World Car of the Year award.

Wagoneer & Grand Wagoneer

The return of the Wagoneer nameplate has been well received, as evidenced by both the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer winning their share of awards and recognitions. In 2021, the Wagoneer family was recognized as the Best Full-Size SUV by Newsweek, then in 2022 the publication recognized them as being the Best Premium SUV. The two models have also been recognized by J.D. Power. In 2022, the Wagoneer took home the #1 spot in Driver Appeal Among Large SUVs while the Grand Wagoneer earned #1 in Driver Appeal Among Large Premium SUVs, then in 2023 the Wagoneer took #1 in Residual Value Among Large SUVs. The Texas Auto Writers Association gave the Wagoneer models plenty of recognition, including the Grand Wagoneer being named the 2022 Sport Utility Vehicle of Texas. The Grand Wagoneer also earned its place as one of the 10 Best Interiors & UX in the 2022 Wards Awards and earned the 2021 Family Luxury Award from CarBuzz.
