Stellantis Offering State-of-the-Art Charging Solutions With Free2move
New Charging Solutions From Stellantis
Not all charging solutions are created equal. Depending on your electric vehicle needs, you may have unique charging needs that require their own unique charging solutions. For instance, the charging needs of someone who drives an electric vehicle just for short commutes may not be the same for someone who runs a business and manages an entire fleet of electric vehicles.
Stellantis, which is the auto group that oversees the brands of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram, is working to make sure there are unique charging solutions for the variety of electric vehicle charging needs that people have. This is being done through something called Free2move.
Free2move Charge Explained
Free2move Charge exists in multiple forms. The first is for individuals or families that need charging solutions, and it is called Free2move Charge Home, allowing drivers to charge their vehicles at home rather than having to rely solely on public charging stations. Free2move Charge Home offers wall boxes for Vehicle-2-Home and Vehicle-2-Grid charging, as well as touch-free wireless solutions.
But what about businesses? That is where Free2move Charge Business comes into play. This service will not only provide charging solutions but also support, installation and maintenance of charging stations for fleet management. There is also a feature that helps businesses estimate running costs.

The last part of Free2move is Free2move Charge GO. This is for all Stellantis customers and offers unique capabilities across a network of charging stations. The details of this network will be announced in the near future, however, drivers will be able to expect 24/7 charging support, as well as be able to make reservations at charging stations and enjoy loyalty program benefits. There will also be subscription services and prepaid packages to provide even more economical means of charging for drivers on a budget. Plus, in a world where everything is digital, drivers will be able to deliver a charge remotely to a vehicle that is currently plugged into a charging port. We don’t yet know if this would be at both public charging stations and home charging stations, or just one or the other. Either way, we look forward to the details once they become available.
We’ll be sure to share those details with you here on the Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Monroe website blog. Until then, be sure to check out our available electric vehicles and contact us if you are interested in taking one for a test drive. Just let us know your preferred vehicle and the best date and time for you to stop in.
