What We Know About the Dodge Challenger Shakedown Last Call Edition

In 2016, Dodge created shockwaves at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas. It was there that an icon was created in the form of a Dodge Shakedown Challenger concept.

As a way to commemorate such an incredible concept model, Dodge is doing something truly special. The automaker is creating seven “Last Call” special edition models, the first of which is a Dodge Challenger Shakedown in order to recreate the 2016 SEMA concept.

Owners can expect the same black and red interior color combination and exterior design cues that include “392” fender graphics and a special “Shakedown” spoiler graphic. As part of the Last Call series, a “Last Call” plaque will be included under the hood.

What Else Comes With the Challenger Shakedown

The Shakedown name comes from some of the Mopar parts that are equipped to this unique vehicle. These include a cold-air-grabbing Mopar Shaker hood and Shaker intake. The wheels are either Low Gloss Black Slingshot wheels, or for the widebody model, Carbon Black Warp Speed wheels.

Inside, drivers will enjoy black Nappa and Alcantara seats that are accented with red stitching. Other red interior accents can be found throughout the cabin too, including the steering wheel and instrument panel. Demonic Red seatbelts help complete the red-on-black look.

The Dodge Challenger Shakedown is truly a very special edition model.Only 1,000 of these vehicles are expected to be produced. But, keep in mind that this is just one out of seven Last Call special editions that are planned. The final Last Call model will be fittingly revealed at the 2022 SEMA Show from Nov. 1-4.
